Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that we reside on the original land of the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Yuchi, and Shawnee People. We honor these indigenous ancestors as the original caretakers of this land. We also honor ancestors of African decent whose forced labor built our city. 


We give gratitude to the Earth Elements– the Land, the local Waters, Air, & Fire for sustaining human life.
